🎯 聽之前

Listeners call in with their worst customer stories: a wedding party, a locked bedroom, an awkward appointment, a mother who stepped in. The lesson is the English of service work, complaints, and telling a long story in order.

  • Who is telling the story: the worker, the customer, or a bystander?
  • Which verbs carry the complaint: demand, insist, refuse, storm out?
  • How do the hosts react: laugh, wince, or ask for the detail that makes it real?
  • Listen for sequence words that keep a long story on track: so then, at that point, meanwhile.
